This image is based off the first Zelda game. While the actual item is useful in the first game, when you think about it being applied to the real world the item is rather, weird.
I tried doing something different with the shading, referencing the art style from "The World Ends With You" game on DS, which I recommend playing. I'm not too sure about the thickness of the lines in this image. Seems a little too wide.
The coloring, shading and clean lines are well done. And you get a stepladder in the first game? (it's been a long time since I remember playing the game)
I never even thought of it looking like that when I was younger. I always thought it was a kind of monkey bar he just walked over. Almost forgot this item even existed.
